Citizenship Checklist
The following is a checklist of documents required for applying for Jamaican Citizenship
1)Applicant’s Birth Certificate
2)Birth Certificate (mother, father)
3)Applicant’s I.D. (if any)
4)Two (2) passport-sized photographs of the applicant, certified by a Justice of the Peace
5)Current Passport
6)Official Marriage Certificate
7)Husband’s/Wife’s Official Birth Certificate
8)Husband’s/Wife’s Current Passport
9)Passport on which you originally entered Jamaica
10)Government issued I.D. (applicant, parent, guardian)
11)Work Permit Letter or Exemption Certificate
12)Work Permit Card
13)Evidence of Community activities in which you may be involved e.g. Service Club, etc.
14)Tax Compliance Certificate (if resident in Jamaica)
15)Police Certificate from country of Residence
16)Verification of Income
17)Recent Bank Statement
